Walking Blue is a Midwest pajama-pant indie emo flower rock band from Orlando, Florida. The four-piece has carved their place in the Florida DIY music scene by coupling an energetic sound with emotionally driven lyrics inspired by 4th wave emo influences. Their shows are high-octane and engaging with moshing and crowd surfing becoming staples of the set.

The band originated when founding members James Thome (drums) and Jimmy Kildea (guitar, vocals) met at the beginning of their freshman year of college. The two spent their first year crafting  the 11 songs that would go on to comprise their debut LP, Postcards & Love Letters (2023). They played their first show in the August 2023 and have gone on to become a force in their local music scene. The band has also since released two studio singles, Flowers for All Seasons  and Something About Vegas (2024), followed by their 5-song EP, In Greyscale (2025). Following several lineup changes, the band consists of Lucca Colucciello (guitar) and Sean Laing (bass).

Walking Blue has recently garnered national attention after being selected as a finalist in Ernie Ball's Battle of the Bands competition, leading them to play the main stage at Vans Warped Tour Orlando. The band is currently at work on their sophomore LP and plans to continue expanding their horizons beyond Florida to other parts of the country.
